Tomato beat the heat summer sunset Beverage

The is a delicious drink with pale colour but a yummy tomato burst flavour.

 

Serves 5

ingredients

3 large and washed beefsteak tomatoes, coarsely chopped

2 celery hips washed and coarsely chopped

2 teaspoons sea salt (Fine)

Tools,

Large sieve.

2 Large Bowls

Whisk

Wooden spoons.

Food processor

Large clothe or tea towel

1. Put celery and tomatoes in processor in 2 batches.Blend until tomatoes are a puree.

Transfer into bowl and whisk in salt. Cover with cloth or towel loosely.

Leave for an hour and a half at room temperature.

2. Put sieve over second bowl and pour in mixture

through sieve chunks of tomato and celery that do not pass shake sieve gently over bowl and discard of chunk of tomato and celery.

refrigerate juice until cold about 1 hour, stir lightly before serving

-tip- This juice may be refrigerated up to one day  loosely covered. Also, you may garnish with mint, lemon slices or even celery leaves.

Smoothie

This recipe is a healthy breakfast in a cup. The fruits expect the banana can be fresh or frozen. Also, feel free to add any fruit you want.

1 Banana (Add another banana if you want it to be a banana smoothie)

1/4 cup favourite berries, fresh or frozen. (Save 3 or 4 berries for garnish)

1 tbsp plain yogurt

1/3 cup orange juice or water

1. Combine ingredients in blender and blend for 50 seconds. Pour smoothie in cup , garnish and enjoy!

Vanilla buttercream frosting

 

ingredients

  •                     1 cup sugar
  •                     1/3 cup water
  •                     6 egg yolks, lightly beaten
  •                     1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  •                     1 1/2 cups butter, softened
  •                     6 tablespoons confectioners’ sugar

            Directions

  1.                     In a heavy saucepan, bring sugar and water to a boil; cook over medium-high heat until sugar is dissolved. Remove from the heat. Add a small amount of hot mixture to egg yolks; return all to the pan, stirring constantly. Cook 2 minutes longer or until mixture thickens, stirring constantly. Remove from the heat; stir in vanilla. Cool to room temperature.
  2.                     In a mixing bowl with the whisk attachment, cream butter until fluffy, about 5 minutes. Gradually beat in cooked sugar mixture. Beat in confectioners’ sugar until fluffy, about 5 minutes. If necessary, refrigerate until frosting reaches spreading consistency. Store in the refrigerator.

Classic Caeser Salad

This salad has a dressing that is fresh, easy and delicious.

 

 

Ingredients

Juice of 1 lemon

2 tablespoon parmeasian (Fresh)

1 clove garlic, peeled

1\2  teaspoon djion mustard

5 dashes of worcestershire sauce

1 large head of roman lettuce, (Try to look for fresh and not

wilty)

2 tablespoons olive oil

Method:

1.In small glass jar, crush garlic into jar. Add djion mix well

with fork or  small whisk.  Mix in oil and lemon juice. Add in

worcesterhire  and parmeasan. Put lid on jar and  close tightly.

Shake vigourously for aboout 1 minute.

2.Chop lettuce and toss in medium salad bowl. Drizzle dressing

on slad and toss.

Voila!

This salad is delicous late summer supper.
